A very successful year - despite all of the challenges.
Some time ago we met with Principal Rohan Smith to discuss how our yet-to-be-born Alumni Association might be able to help future generations of students. The outcome was that our initial focus would be on showing students that the community supported them. Moreover, we set out to improve on the connections between the school, the community, industry and business.
Today we see that Kwinana Industries are stepping up to the mark; the KIC is promoting iScience, There are many other initiatives and Principal Smith should be congratulated. It is no accident that the major sporting and academic awards for Gilmore College are sponsored by our alumni association - every member should be very proud of contributing in many different ways.
